5S, for Continuous Improvement

Continuous improvement is the secret of success, once you start improving things gradually, you will achieve higher level of efficiency.

One of the effective tools of continuous improvement is 5S Management.

 "5S Management "is an on-site management method originating from Japan:

1. Seiri (organize)
2. ⁠Seiton (rectify)
3. ⁠Seiso (cleaning)
4. ⁠Seiketsu (clean)
5. ⁠Shitsuke (Accomplishment)

These five Japanese words are named after the initial letter 'S'. Later, Western countries also widely adopted 5S as a QA plan, transforming the original Japanese S into English:

1. Sort
2. ⁠Set
3. Shine
4. ⁠Standardize
5. ⁠Sustain
