DfMA MiMEP
Construction Industry Council (CIC) has published Guidebook on DfMA Design Principles for MiMEP in August 2022. InnoTec Engineering Limited provided ideas for this Guidebook (see page 6).
There are three key principles of DfMA:
1. minimisation
2. standardisation
3. modularisation
The objective of the three key principles is to guide design decisions with the aim of using fewer design parts and assembling common "E&M blocks" modules into new products.
“Government has been rapidly adopting MiC and MiMEP into public projects, we are on the right track in leading positions and shall keep it up.” said Peter Lam, managing director of InnoTec.
